Hello, my name is Leo and I have a story to tell. First, I am not an author. I am not a writer and I am not a professional triathlete. I am someone just like you. I'm a father, a husband, a son, a brother and an age group triathlete. I have something I would like to share with you. It’s a story, in fact it’s a true story about my life and how I lost everything! From divorce, to family, to money, to self-esteem and almost my life! However, that’s just where this amazing story of strength, determination and an iron will begins. From my first triathlon when I didn’t know how to swim, bike or run; to a near fatal cycling accident; to attempting to complete the world's longest one day endurance event on the planet, the Ironman Triathlon! It starts with a 2.4 mile swim, followed by 112 miles on the bike, ending with a full 26.2 mile marathon! Cross the finish line in 17 hours or less and you will hear the words "You are an Ironman". A monumental task by anyone's standards, but to me, after so many obstacles, it seemed impossible. So please take the time to sit back, relax and read about a story that I was told I must tell. It's truly a roller coaster ride of emotions. I promise it will make you laugh a lot, perhaps inspire you and it might even cause you to shed a tear. This E-Book is for everyone. So whether you're a couch potato, a weekend warrior or an Ironman, my story is about something we all have in common, life's crazy ups and downs. Despite all of the challenges life threw at me, it’s how I overcame them all and never gave up that I think you will enjoy reading about.
